This project was a combination of eclectic styling with transitional design elements.
The original cottage was a prebuilt package home with very little curb appeal. We were tasked with making the home feel more like a cottage with large windows and open spaces.
Working with an architect that likes to collaborate with the team decided to change the roof line, adding a shed roof and using clear cedar on the interiors that extended out to the soffit.
The main floor open living space includes a kitchen and living room with a clean aesthetic. The primary bedroom and ensuite open onto the main living space with a loft like feel with lake views.
